Bricks 4 Kidz afterschool program at the JCC starts April 15

Photo of a pile of LEGO bricks.The JCC of Syracuse will host a Bricks 4 Kidz afterschool program on Wednesdays starting April 15 from 4:30–5:30 p.m. The six-week interactive program for school-age children in grades K-6 will get them to learn, build and play with LEGO bricks. The session's ticket to ride theme will have kids building amusement park rides.  MORE >

Spring Break vacation camp to be held April 3 & 6-9

The JCC of Syracuse will hold a Passover/Spring Break vacation camp for school-age children, grades K-6, on Friday, April 3 and Monday through Thursday, April 6–9 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Children may attend just one day or all five days. Half-day programs and extended childcare are also available. The camp will feature various age-appropriate indoor and outdoor activities, special theme days and local field trips.   MORE >

Girls on the Run returns to the JCC starting March 23

Girls on the Run logo.Girls on the Run, an afterschool running program for girls of all fitness levels in grades 3–5, will again be offered this spring at the JCC. The 10-week course will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:30 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. starting March 23.  MORE >

The JCC of Syracuse is offering a February Break vacation camp for school-age children, grades K-6 to be held Feb. 16-20. Children may attend just one day or all five days. Openings still available for free "healthy lifestyles" class for pre-teens

Photo of a pre-teen girl running.The JCC of Syracuse continues to enroll fifth and sixth graders in its weekly Healthy Bodies class held on Tuesdays from 3:15-4:15 p.m. The coed classes, part of the JCC's After School Program, are designed to engage pre-teens, or “tweens,” to help them acquire and maintain healthy lifestyle habits through good nutrition and fitness. This free program, funded by a grant from the Jim and Juli Boeheim Foundation, runs through May.  MORE >

Enroll your child in the Jan. 19 Martin Luther King Jr. Day vacation camp

The JCC is offering an MLK Jr. Day vacation camp for school-age children, grades K-6, on Monday, Jan. 19 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The kids will enjoy a variety of engaging activities such as arts and crafts, computer games, sports and more. Dec. 21 "Drop-N-Shop" to give parents four hours of holiday shopping without the kids

Drop-N-Shop Kids Day Out will be held on Sunday, Dec. 21, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the JCC of Syracuse. This mini half-day vacation camp is designed to get children—ages 3-12—out of the house and engaged in lots of fun activities while their parents get to spend five hours doing what they need or want to do.    MORE >
