Sisterhood Symposium to be held October 16

Photo of this year's Sisterhood Symposium guest speaker Sylvia Barack Fishman, Joseph and Esther Foster professor of Judaic Studies, Brandeis University.The Sisterhood of Congregation Beth Sholom-Chevra Shas and the Sam Pomeranz Jewish Community Center are gearing up to present another thought-provoking Sisterhood Symposium this fall. The program “Marriage, Intermarriage, and Jewish Families Today” will be held on Tuesday, October 16 at 6:30 pm at the JCC of Syracuse, 5655 Thompson Rd., DeWitt.

The event’s featured participants will be Sylvia Barack Fishman, Joseph and Esther Foster professor of Judaic Studies, Brandeis University, and Rabbi Andrew Pepperstone, spiritual leader of Congregation Beth Sholom-Chevra Shas.

Attendance at the event includes dinner. Table sponsorships include recognition in the printed program.
