JCC CAMP JOE & LYNNE ROMANO – SUMMER DAY CAMPS
2021 summer camp registration happening now!
This year's summer camp will again include many
health and safety protocols to help everyone
stay safe while having fun.
| Curbside drop-off and pick-up. | Small groups with no commingling. |
| Hand washing stations. | Campers' belongings separated. |
| Masks must be worn indoors. | No early care, late care or busing. |
The JCC of Syracuse's Camp Joe & Lynne Romano is delighted to be able to offer a full eight weeks of summer camp this year!
After a smaller summer camp last year due to the pandemic, we are so excited for this summer! Last year's camp went extremely well and was a huge success thanks to the comprehensive protocols we had in place and the hard work of our staff. Once again our top priority this year will be the health and safety of all campers, staff and community members while still enjoying all the fun that summer camp brings!
Camp Romano offers a variety of adventurous and enriching programs which allow campers to establish lasting friendships, gain experience “by doing” and just plain have fun all summer long.
Please note the following school-age specialty camps are currently full:

| Week 4 (July 19-23) Nitzanim Golf Horseback Riding Pokemon |
Week 8 (August 16-20) Nitzanim Fishing Flag Football Gymnastics |
Wait lists have been started for each of the above camps should COVID restrictions be relaxed and additional spots added.
2021 summer day camp will run June 28 – August 20
- Early Childhood Camp – OPEN
- School-Age Camp – OPEN
- Monday–Friday (day and time options vary by program, see below)
- SyraCruisin', Camp Aide and Counselor in Training (CIT)
teen programs – CANCELED - Registration is weekly for all age groups except infants (monthly registration for ages 6 weeks – 18 months).
- Register by mail or in-person.
Registration is happening now and run right up until the start of each session!
Enrollment options by age group:
- For children 6-weeks old through entering kindergarten.
- Full- and partial-week options available.
Monthly for ages 6 weeks – 18 months. - Full-day and morning half-day options available.
- Held on-site at the JCC. Field trips, if any, will be limited.
- The camp day begins and ends at the JCC.
- Discount for JCC members.
- For children entering grades 1–6.
- Full weeks only, 9 am – 4 pm. Drop-off begins at 8:30 am and pick-up runs until 4:30 pm.
- No early care, late care or bus pick-ups this summer.
- Held on-site at the JCC except for certain off-site specialty camps and off-site field trips.
- More offsite specialty camps and field trips planned this year!
- The camp day begins and ends at the JCC.
- Discount for JCC members.
