Vaccination Policy Update – Effective Sept 21, 2022

September 21, 2022 JCC Members & Friends, The JCC of Syracuse continues to monitor the COVID-19 situation around the country and within Onondaga County. We pride ourselves on staying up to date with current CDC guidelines and recommendations, and change policies as needed within the organization to ensure the safety and well-being of all our members, staff and visitors. In light of the recent CDC guidelines, the JCC Board of Directors voted at the September 20, 2022 Board Meeting; that while we strongly recommend everyone to be vaccinated, we will no longer require proof of vaccination when entering the building. This decision was not taken lightly. We take the safety of every child and member very seriously at the JCC. All JCC staff will still be required to be fully vaccinated and boosted. As things change and evolve with COVID-19, we will continue to adapt our policies and procedures to keep everyone as safe as possible. We thank you for your continued observance of our COVID-19 protocols and for your commitment and dedication to the Jewish Community Center of Syracuse. Sincerely, Marci Erlebacher Steven Sisskind Marci Erlebacher Steven Sisskind Executive Director Board President
